The 178mm Wire Lanyard is a flexible security attachment designed for merchandise that can’t be pinned through fabric but still needs strong theft deterrence. Ideal for handbags, backpacks, shoes, belts and accessories, the steel wire lanyard loops easily through handles, eyelets or hardware—providing secure protection without damaging the product.
Built to integrate seamlessly with the XT30 high-security tag, the wire lanyard uses the same XT Lock mechanism, resisting common detachers while remaining quick and easy for store staff to apply.
How it Works:
Unlike standard pins, this lanyard functions as a complete pin replacement for specific merchandise.
- The thin end is fed through the secondary lanyard hole found on specific security tags. The crimped end remains secure on the tag.
- The cable is then looped through the merchandise.
- The pin end is inserted into the tag’s standard locking mechanism to secure the item.
